Miramar Emergency Dental Care USA FAQs
Miramar Emergency Dental Care USA serves patients in Broward County and the surrounding area. Below are answers to common questions for our Miramar emergency dentist office, so you can get the urgent care you need with confidence.
Yes, it is. Our Miramar location relocated from the former Fort Lauderdale Emergency Dental Care USA office in September of 2025. We moved from the E. Commercial Blvd. address in Fort Lauderdale to this new, convenient Miramar site in the Monarch Lakes area. You’ll find the same experienced team and the same commitment to prompt, excellent emergency dental care – just in a new building. If you were a patient at our Fort Lauderdale office, we’d love to see you in Miramar. The new office is only about 20–25 minutes away from the old location and offers plenty of parking and easy access from I-75. We’re excited to continue serving the Broward County community from our Miramar office that’s easy to reach for both Broward and northern Miami-Dade residents.
Yes, walk-ins are welcome at our Miramar clinic. If you have a sudden dental emergency, such as a knocked-out tooth or unbearable pain, and you haven’t called ahead, don’t worry – come straight to our office at 12781 Miramar Parkway, Suite 106. We always do our best to accommodate patients who come in without appointments. That said, if you’re able to call on your way or prior to coming, it can help us prepare for your arrival and minimize your wait. Either way, your emergency is our emergency – we will prioritize getting you seen and treated as fast as possible.
Yes, we are happy to offer payment plans through our trusted third-party financing partners. We realize that a dental emergency is an unexpected expense, so our Miramar office provides multiple payment options to help you get the care you need. We have financing options with high approval rates, even if your credit isn’t perfect. Some plans feature low interest, which can really help if you need to pay over time. Our staff will help you explore these options – you can even apply online or in-office and usually get an instant decision. We want to ensure you can afford the care you need now and then comfortably budget the payments in a way that works for you.
Yes – we are open seven days a week, including Saturdays and Sundays (typically 9am to 9pm). So if your toothache flares up on a Sunday, you won’t have to wait until Monday – we’ll be here.
We recommend calling ahead to get the earliest available appointment, especially on weekends when the schedule fills up fast. If you don’t see any availability on our online schedule, give us a call to see if we can squeeze you in.
We accept most dental insurance plans, and we can help with the claims process to make the process easier. Feel free to call us to confirm with your specific plan.
Please note that we do not accept Medicaid or other state-funded insurance programs.
No, we are not open 24 hours. Our Miramar emergency dental office keeps long hours (usually 9:00am until 9:00pm) to accommodate patients in the morning and late in the evening, but we do close during the overnight hours.
We are open every day of the week, which means you have access to care after normal work hours and on weekends, but we’re not physically open around the clock. Also, keep in mind that we take our final patients of the day about an hour before closing. So if you need same-day treatment, try to contact us as soon as you can that day. If you happen to experience a dental emergency very late at night, you can book an appointment online for the next morning or call us first thing – we’ll make you a priority as soon as our doors open.
Yes – our emergency dentists can usually perform an extraction or root canal on the spot, during your first visit. We handle many urgent cases like severe toothaches, abscesses, and broken teeth by treating them immediately. That might mean pulling a badly damaged or infected tooth right away, or starting root canal therapy to remove infection and relieve pain. We aim to provide treatment on the same day. In rare scenarios where there’s an unusual complication or excessive swelling/infection, we might schedule a follow-up visit once things stabilize or refer you to a specialist. However, those situations are uncommon – more often than not, we resolve the issue in one visit so you leave out of pain.
Not at Emergency Dental Care USA. An emergency visit at our Miramar office costs the same as a regular dental visit in terms of fees. We don’t charge an extra premium just because it’s an urgent situation. All pricing is based on the average rates for the local area, and we strive to keep our fees reasonable for the community.
When you come in, our team will explain the examination and treatment costs before proceeding. You’ll know exactly what to expect to pay, and we’re happy to answer any cost questions upfront – no surprises and no inflated “emergency” rates.
Yes – You can still get treated at our Miramar office even if you have no dental insurance. We never turn away patients due to lack of insurance coverage. Instead, we offer a variety of payment alternatives. You can pay by cash, debit, or credit card, and we have financing options to help break up the cost into affordable monthly payments.
The important thing is that you get out of pain – we’ll work with you on the financial side to make sure that happens. Don’t hesitate to come in because of cost concerns; we will find a solution with you.
